Reverie Productions is now on Facebook!

We’re currently collaborating with the Vermont Farm and Forest School on some biodiversity curriculum as part of installing and designing a biodviersity trail on their campus in Roxbury! Check out one of our early artwork designs illustrating the large ground finch, one of Darwin’s finches from the Galapagos islands!

Upcoming events & activities

A *free* public demonstration of one of our classroom activities — “Armored Marine Warfare” — will be happening on Thursday, March 12. Central Vermont teachers and other science education advocates are invited! Check out the Events page for more information.

My name is Steve C. Schenk, founder and creative director of Reverie Productions. Three decades of teaching college biology allowed me to see how often the way science is taught turns people off to science education. To push back against this phenomenon, I spent the last three years designing the Wilton Simpson Citrus Campus Biodiversity Trail — a hybrid walking tour-STEAM museum located on the College of Central Florida’s campus in Citrus County, Florida.

The primary goal for Reverie Productions is to start a science education revolution!

By producing high quality and low cost educational tools, we will empower teachers of all levels, excite students of all ages, and ignite a love of science with communities of Central Vermont and beyond.

To empower innovation in science education by producing top-quality STEAM instructional media, and

by fostering community engagement through collaboration in the design and development processes.

Working with students, colleagues, and local residents taught me that combining science with art and community creates real enthusiasm for science education!

In 2026, we will be seeking 501(c)(3) status as a nonprofit charitable organization.
